Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Steadyway for using the app.

Last updated 16 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Amine Kacem PFA, established in București, Romania ("Steadyway", "we", "us"), for your use of the Steadyway iPhone app and this website. By using the app you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

Who can use Steadyway

You must be 18 or over, and Steadyway is intended for people taking a prescribed GLP-1 medication under the care of a healthcare professional. It is not a way to obtain medication and it is not a substitute for medical care — see the Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Your account

Steadyway does not require an account. You can install it, set it up and use it without giving us anything. An account exists to back your data up and restore it on a new phone, and it is created only when you choose to turn that on, with Sign in with Apple, Google or an email address. Keep control of whatever you sign in with; anyone who can sign in as you can read everything you have logged.

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and we cannot restore what it erases.

Your data is yours

You keep every right you have in what you log. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your entries, sync them between your device and our servers, and display them back to you. We do not use your entries to train anything, sell them, or show them to anyone but you.

What we ask of you

  • Do not use Steadyway for anyone but yourself, or log another person's health information without their knowledge and agreement.
  • Do not try to access another user's data, probe our systems, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law says you may.
  • Do not use the contact form to send abuse, spam, or anything unlawful.

We may suspend or end access to an account that is used this way. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

Your licence to the app

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to run Steadyway on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. The app is licensed to you, not sold, and we keep every right we have not expressly given you here.

Subscriptions

Steadyway is free to use, and the whole of the daily loop — logging, the trend, the doses, reminders, widgets and the export of everything you have logged — is free and stays free. Steadyway Pro is an optional subscription adding the clinician summary, backup and sync, and the alternate app icons. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are covered in Subscriptions & Refunds, which also forms part of these terms.

Apple's part in this

You get Steadyway from the App Store, and Apple asks us to state plainly what that does and does not make Apple responsible for:

  • This agreement is between you and us alone. Apple is not a party to it.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its content, and its maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide either.
  • If the app fails to conform to any warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. Beyond that refund, Apple has no warranty obligation, and any other claim about the app is ours to answer.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claim that the app or your use of it breaks a law, creates a product liability, or infringes somebody's intellectual property.
  • You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and are not on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

What we do not promise

We work to keep Steadyway available and correct, but we provide it "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a calculation will suit your circumstances. We do not promise that a reminder will always be delivered — those are scheduled by your phone and subject to its settings.

Because your phone holds the original of your data, the practical effect of an outage on our side is that a backup does not run, not that you lose access to your own records.

Limits on our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or €50.

In particular, and for the avoidance of doubt: we are not responsible for decisions you make about your medication or your treatment. Those belong with you and your prescriber.

Changes to the app and to these terms

We may change the app, add features and remove ones that are not working. If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Steadyway after that means you accept the new terms.

Ending it

You can stop using Steadyway whenever you like, by deleting your account and removing the app. We may end this agreement if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and the Romanian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, none of that takes anything away from you: you keep the mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
